Forward to fulfillment
You may already have some familiarity with different therapies, especially if you’ve dealt with anxiety or trauma. Each of those models offers something valuable. The way I work is a bit different. I help you restore the part of you that can lead your inner life—your emotions, instincts, and nervous system responses—rather than trying to fight or control them, which only risks worsening them.
Restoring your wise, Primal Self
Inner Leader Therapy emerged from a simple observation in my clinical work: many adults were not suffering because they lacked control, insight, or discipline—but because the part of them capable of leading their inner life had gone offline.
Over time, I noticed that clients often learned—early and unconsciously—to suppress vital parts of themselves in order to adapt, belong, or stay safe. What developed instead was a deep alienation from a vital, life-giving resource, that naturally creates balance, vitality and healthy boundaries.
Drawing from depth psychology, trauma research, evolutionary learning paradigms, and affective neuroscience, I began to see healing not as the mere fixing of broken parts nor as tool acquisition or coping, but as restoring a primal and natural relationship.
Inner Leader Therapy is built on the principle that both your fearful and life-giving instincts need wise, embodied leadership. When that leadership is restored, energy organizes itself, symptoms soften, and you become adept at moving your life forward.
This May be a good fit if you…
Are ready to develop inner capacity rather than rely on external things to regulate yourself.
Have struggled with the effects of trauma (physical, emotional, spiritual).
Are a creative or deep thinker, yet still feel stuck or over-controlled.
Are fearful of being vulnerable with yourself or others.
Feel disconnected or rejected from a reliable inner steadiness and trustworthiness.
Want a personalized, holistic or trauma-informed approach that works with the mind-body nervous system.
My Session Offerings
For psychotherapy and coaching, I offer three options depending upon availability. Private pay, which provides less clinical restrictions than insurance-based options, including the option for expanded sessions. Therapy intensives offer the most comprehensive and accelerated care. Insurance will only pay for traditional sessions, of which I reserve just a few spots. More information provided during the consultation.
