Psychotherapist & Integrative Coach

Chuck Genre

Licensed psychotherapist. Certified in trauma-informed therapies, integrative coaching and clinical hypnosis. Lover of french fries, cheesy country music, JD Salinger and Bruce Lee. Oh, and best friend to the neighborhood black bear.

I am an educator, psychotherapist, and former criminologist with over 25 years of experience teaching and counseling. Before becoming a clinician, I taught high school and college students and I’ve led a bunch of workshops and intensives on emotional intelligence, traumatic healing and other subjects.

I respect lineage. Mine is scattered with relatives and mentors who had profound abilities to connect with animals or people. From animal whisperers to spiritual adepts, they taught me more about healing and change practices than the many years of schooling required for licensure. They embodied balance and active wisdom. They impressed upon me the importance of carrying on the lineage, however nameless it is.

My main goal is to help you cultivate a balanced state and move forward. To help you make peace with loss. To help you dive within and mount that rippling, instinctual spirit in full gallop, so you can remember what the warm wind of freedom feels like in this sprint called life.
